OACM President H.E. Kristijan Curavic is very proud to introduce a project that is not only close to his heart, but also to that of a special person: Professor Geoffrey Lipman, a close mutual friend of former UNWTO Secretary-General, Dr. Taleb Rifai.

Professor Lipman served as Deputy Secretary-General of the UNWTO under Dr. Rifai. H.E. Kristijan Curavic introduced Dr. Rifai as a board member to the OACM and considers him one of his most significant mentors in developing the environmental foundations of the global tourism sector.

Professor Lipman has introduced a children's education program that the OACM will promote on a global scale, starting in Dubai prior to the UNOC conference in December 2026. The OACM considers children's education a fundamental priority when it comes to preventing ocean pollution. More exclusive details will be shared soon.
