The OACM has officially launched a new Continental Water Project to enhance continental tourism. OACM President H.E. Kristijan Curavic, along with the High Representative for the Mediterranean and Black Sea regions, introduced the program to Prof. Dr. Eden Mamut.

Professor Mamut is the Director of the Institute for Nanotechnologies & Alternative Energy Sources at "Ovidius" University of Constanta, Romania, and a Professor for Engineering Thermodynamics and Advanced Energy Systems.

The Professor has agreed to introduce the program to the President of Romania, H.E. Nicușor Dan, with the objective for Romania to take the lead in the Continental Water Tourism Program and establish its first White Flag certified area.

This collaboration between the OACM and Professor Mamut signifies a pivotal commitment to advancing Romania's leadership role in sustainable continental tourism and setting a high-level precedent for environmental certification within the region.
