The main objective of the 4 Steps to Sustainable ICBEC ESG Corporate Impact Program is to establish strong foundations by carefully selecting the local, national or regional area of the planet where the company wishes to create a measurable environmental impact. From this starting point, ICBEC partners with White Flag International to initiate operational procedures, which include the annual cleaning and certification of the selected coastal and inland areas, both beneath and above the surfaces of oceans, lakes and rivers.

ICBEC initiates cooperation between White Flag International, the local community and national government authorities, aligning and synchronising the multilateral efforts necessary to implement the CSMA (Certified SAFE Marine Area) process. This includes engaging White Flag International’s divers and surface personnel, alongside local and national stakeholders, to ensure coordinated and effective action.

Under the White Flag EOMD Certified SAFE Marine Areas Operational Process, White Flag International initiates the coastal and inland ocean, lake or river cleaning operations. These activities may last from 7 days to several months and are carried out by professionally trained divers and surface personnel.
The entire process is thoroughly documented: underwater and surface filming is conducted, while daily reports record the type and quantity of collected pollution. All findings are delivered to both corporate and government partners. The exact amount of extracted ocean, lake and marine debris is carefully measured to serve as validated data for corporate ESG reports, as well as for the issuance of the ESG-EOMD Environmental Impact Warranty.

Through the Annual Corporate Visual ESG Report & Innovative EOMD Environmental Warranty, ICBEC delivers two distinct ESG reports to the company:

1. A standard catalogue-form report, structured and detailed, aligned with compliance and certification requirements.

2. An innovative visual report, presented as an edited short film (10 minutes) or a full-length documentary (over 1 hour), offering a dynamic and transparent portrayal of the company’s environmental impact.
