A Project of Global, National Interest & Security

The ICBEC protocol initiates direct communication with governments, heads of state and ministries, while simultaneously fostering collaboration with Chambers of Trade & Business and the corporate sector. The purpose is to align development strategies with new sustainable policies.

The UC-ESSI Vision, together with its integration program, has significant impact on the national economy and the development of sustainability, both in the tourism sector and in industrial development.

All UC-ESSI Vision programs are fully aligned with the greater global development agenda, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the OACM SOS CP (Sustainable Ocean Solutions Conservancy Program).

This initiative impacts fundamental segments of society and livelihoods. ICBEC, together with OACM, refers to this as a “Project of National Interest.”

Nations with highly developed tourism industries or local communities whose livelihoods depend on tourism, view this program not as a choice, but as a necessity.

Quote:
“Corporate sector ECR Policies must be interrelated with the government's strategic development of national economy and environmental sustainability.”

According to the UNWTO Code of Ethics, biodiversity is one of the key elements of the sustainable tourism industry.
